Welcome to SMOKIN' BONZ BBQ COMPANY. Whether you are a first time customer or long time friend, we hope you will like our smoked meat products, homemade side dishes, and gourmet BBQ sauces. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are a small, family owned, catering company that takes the time to prepare BBQ the old fashioned way, low and slow.
Remember, BBQ should be an event, not just a meal.
Our Service:
We specialize in catering for any occasion. You pick the occasion and we come to your place with our trailer and deliver the ultimate BBQ party experience. We smoke our meats with a rich mixture of Apple, Cherry, Pecan, Alder and Hickory woods. This gives our meat it's moist, juicy and rich flavor. We also use a wide variety of homemade rubs and traditonal rubs to flavor our meat. Remember, if the meat does not taste great by itself, no amount of sauce will cover the flavor.
Our Sauces:
We have what we think are the best sauces that money can buy. I took 5 years to develop our first sauce, just to get it right. All our sauces have a very special ingredient base, Bing Cherries. The seasoning in our sauces is a highly guarded secret (that's right, if I tell you I would have to kill you), although our sauces look like traditional BBQ sauces, one taste and you will find a bolder much richer taste than your average BBQ sauce.
Credits and Competition:
Francis is a member of the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), the Iowa Barbeque Society (IBS) and is a certified BBQ judge. Team SMOKIN' BONZ competes in several KCBS BBQ Competitions a year in the mid-west and has a busy catering schedule. We have been competing in competitions since 2007. We have won several times in competition which includes: 2009 Council Bluffs "BBQ in the Bluffs" (8th Place Overall, 2nd Place Brisket, 3rd Place Ribs & 8th Place Chicken), 2008 Nevada Kiwanis BBQ (8th Place Overall, 1st Place Ribs, 6th Place Chicken & 10th Place Brisket). We look for continued success in the future.
